The history of a social innovation project

The “Guia Terrestre y Acuática Sanguieme” is the result of a research, observation and collaboration process carried out among students of the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Chiapas, artisans, entrepreneurs, tourism service providers, public officials, historians and tourists of the community.


It is a digital tool of historical and cultural information to potentiate the exchange of tourist services in the municipality of Chiapa de Corzo by seeking to efficiently and effectively enable the provision of tourist services provided to visitors to make your visit a meaningful experience, thus achieving to further detonate the economic development of families and the region.


It also concentrates information about history, art and culture for the study and research of schools and professionals of Chiapa de Corzo.

The Guia Terrestre y Acuática Sanguieme de la Grande and Heroica Chiapa de Corzo is visualized through Google Maps. It has 9 tourist guides that contain a description of each point with photos and videos. The content is presented in Spanish, English and French.


In each one of them are geolocated significant cultural elements that allow the tourist server to transmit a significant experience.


The Tecnológico de Monterrey in Chiapas through the PrepaTec sees in this project the impact of the efforts of the Initiative for Entrepreneurial Learning "ELI", of its innovative educational model and the fulfillment of its vision: To form leaders with entrepreneurial spirit, sense human and internationally competitive.
